Well it’s official - the Infiniti G37 is now the new Skyline Coupe in Japan. Nissan made the announcement in Japan today and is available nationwide there. But Nissan and car fans alike are more eagerly awaiting the rise of the new GT-R when the Tokyo motor show kicks off in 21 days. Not that the G37 wasn’t a car to eagerly wait for - its got a gorgeous body and 330HP engine - it’s just that its passe now having been released in the US as the Infiniti G37 earlier this year and its bigger and mightier cousin, the GT-R, will soon take center stage.

Nissans design forum is currently touring Asia, having already visited the Philippines last September 22 and 23. The design forum will tour Asia for a year visiting several Aisain countries with the aim of sharing with the public the experience of being in one of Nissans design studios as well as to seek out and encourage aspiring young designers looking for a career in Industrial Design in the Automotive Industry.
