An 85 year-old resident of Toronto Canada was caught by Police for speeding. The man was fined for doing 161 kilometers per hour on a main highway where the speed limit was only 100 km/h. The reason for his speeding? The elderly man told police he was going to the bank and planned to go shopping. Maybe he was in a rush to get to an Apple store sale - the iPhone is a hot item nowadays!

The upcoming GT-R GT500 (see GT-R Back in Action) is destined to wear the new Nissan Works paint-scheme as decided upon by close collaboration between Nissan’s design team and NISMO (Nissan Motor Sports) along with feedback from members of the Club NISMO fan club. The new livery will be used by Nissan in all its motorsports activities in 2008. This will help audiences associate the GT-R GT500 immediately with Nissan.

MIT, with all their bright minds on campus, have come up with a stackable City Car. Aimed at daily commuters who have to walk or take a taxi to the nearest bus or train station. The stackable City Car is a car you can rent to drive from your home to the bus/train station in the morning and then drive from the station to your home at the end of the day. This addresses the need of commuters who have to cover that “last mile” from their home or office to get to the nearest station.

Nissan’s been showing off its new Forum concept lately and it has some similarities with the current (old) Serena mini-van - especially when you look at the rear 3/4ths view. Maybe this is the direct replacement for the aging van. Though a new Serena was just released last December 19 in Japan with a revised exterior and interior, anyone would opt for the Forum over the Serena when compared side-by-side.
