Nissan after starting the pre-launch activites for their new GT-R have launched a site promoting the GT-R and its racing heritage. The site is www.gtrnissan.com and has a downloadable countdown timer so you know exactly how many hours, days, minutes and seconds before the launch of the GT-R at the Tokyo Motor Show, Los Angeles Auto Show and Geneva Motor Show. There is also a nice interactive slideshow that visitors to the site can use to learn a bit about the racing history of the legendary Godzilla of the auto industry.

An older exisitng site that used to contain information about the GT-R Proto is still inactive having gone “under wraps” for some time now. Maybe after or just before the launch at the Tokyo Motor Show the site will also be updated.
