In what could be the first time a GT-R was redesigned into a Skyline, Nissan is considering a four door GT-R for Infiniti. Previous iterations of the Skyline spawned the GT-R variant - run-of-the-mill Skylines were shortened and added considerable upgrades to turn it into the Godzillas we all loved. But if Nissan pushes through with the plan, it’ll be the first time that a GT-R is the mule for a future “Skyline”.
Maybe it wont be as much a Skyline as the current Infiniti Skyline is. Possibly it will carry a different nameplate and be marketed towards a different crowd. Or it may just be the future replacement of the current Skyline. Whatever Nissan decides on, fanboys all over will be happy if it rolls off the assembly line. And considering the concept art below, a stretched GT-R looks pretty good. Although the first picture sort of resembles the Chrysler 300 - sort of, and is reminiscent of the R34 Skyline sedan.

Nissan’s been showing off its new Forum concept lately and it has some similarities with the current (old) Serena mini-van - especially when you look at the rear 3/4ths view. Maybe this is the direct replacement for the aging van. Though a new Serena was just released last December 19 in Japan with a revised exterior and interior, anyone would opt for the Forum over the Serena when compared side-by-side.

The Nissan Intima concept car is Nissan’s take on modern living - and very modern it is. It’s also a large concept car, comparable to the size of a Mercedes S Class. With a clean, sleek and stylish look it tends to hint at a more Infiniti production car than a Nissan Maxima replacement. Plus it’s far too large to be in the same class as the Maxima. So could this be the next Infiniti Q? Well if the demo Intima from the 40th Tokyo Auto Show is anything to go by, this concept looks almost ready for production. No details yet on the powerplant for the Intima - V8 RWD anyone?
