The upcoming GT-R GT500 (see GT-R Back in Action) is destined to wear the new Nissan Works paint-scheme as decided upon by close collaboration between Nissan’s design team and NISMO (Nissan Motor Sports) along with feedback from members of the Club NISMO fan club. The new livery will be used by Nissan in all its motorsports activities in 2008. This will help audiences associate the GT-R GT500 immediately with Nissan.

Snooping around the web and YouTube will get you some interesting information. Here’s a YouTube video of the GT-R officially doing 7 minutes and 38 seconds around the infamously technical Nurburging in Germany. Pay attention to the LCD screen at the bottom left to see just how quickly the GT-R accelerates. Turn the sound up so you can hear how well the car sticks to the track!

Well here we go!

The Tokyo Auto Show is finally upon us and of course we’ve all been anxiously waiting for more images and information about Nissans next Super Car the GT-R. If you noticed the GT-R coutndown widget at the sidebar of the site (you’ll have to scroll down a little), the time reads 00:00:00:00. It’s launch time for the GT-R! And with that Nissan has released some more images of the car along with an official statement - specs and pricing. More updates as they become available.
