Considering it’s a Fuel Cell Vehicle and probably weighs more than a regular X-Trail, a time of 11 minutes and 58 seconds isn’t that bad. Also it’s the only Fuel Cell Vehicle ever track tested on the Nurburgring. So Nissan and Greenpeace should both be proud - a fast cross-over Fuel Cell Vehicle that’s friendly on the environment!
The X-Trail FCV runs purely on electricity produced by the hydrogen fuel cell stack and so emits zero emissions and runs without so much as a whisper. The regular gas drinking engine has been replaced by an equally powerful electric motor that produces up to 120 horsepower. Although some of the uphill sections were challenging for the X-Trail FCV it was still able to complete the run and clock-in a respectable time to boot. Toyota and Honda may take their own Fuel Cell Vehicles to the track, not wanting to be out done by Nissan.

The forum is slowly but surely coming alive again. Just working on the database as it was accidentally overwritten by an installation of PHPBB3 going to the wrong directory. It will be up and running again soon, just have to fix the tables. But it will be running PHPBB3 from now on.
Also notice the new menu and categories? Hmmm looks like fun
Stay Tuned!

Nothing much has been happening here at Nissan Forums Philippines. Mainly because changes are on their way. The forum is down - an upgrade maybe? The layout is messy - a washover paintjob maybe? There’s nothing new to read - restructured content maybe?
Who knows?!
But let’s wait and see what comes drifting ’round the corner soon…

Nissan, or Mr. Ghosn, may be taking things a little too obsessively and personally with all the “Porsche Killer” hype that Nissan is running with these days. There are rumors circulating that a GT-R based Cross-Over SUV may be in the works to challenge the Porsche Cayenne. The GT-R already beat the 911 Turbo around the Nurburgring, and the upcoming GT-R based Infiniti Sedan may go head-to-head with the Porsche Panamera. And it’s great that Nissan is working on utilizing the GT-R platform for use on future models, but for some it’s just a bit hard to imagine and appreciate an SUV with the looks of the GT-R. The Porsche Cayenne, which is based off of Porsche’s line of potent sports cars, wasn’t exactly met with warm reviews about its’ looks when it came out….and it still isn’t. So imagine a tall and wide SUV with the profile and mug of a GT-R? No thanks, really.
